Monthly Lunch Club

Posted 13/05/2013

The Fairwater Lunch Club meets once a month on a Friday (usually the first Friday of the month) and consists of a mix of local residents from all walks of life. Arrival is at 12:30 for Canapés with a 2 course lunch with coffee from 1pm, followed by a guest speaker or event, which are all hand selected to provide a wide variety of entertainment.
Our Lunch Club guests have certainly enjoyed some fascinating speakers covering a range of topics from local businesses such as River Cottage, Axminster Carpets and Chilcotts Auctioneers to celebrity guests Dave Cash, Ann Widdecombe and equestrian Olympic winner Mary King MBE.
Membership runs from February to December annually and the membership charge for 2014 is just £15.00 for single membership for the year and £25.00 for couples. At your first Lunch Club attendance you will receive a membership card which offers additional benefits to include 5% off your total bill whenever you eat and drink in our restaurant (excluding Lunch Club events), 15% off standard room rates (excluding special offers), priority bookings in the hotel and restaurant plus free room upgrades when available.
The cost for each lunch is £17.50 per head for members which is great value for Canapés, a 2 course lunch, coffee and a speaker or event.  If you choose not to join you are always welcome to attend any dates open to non-members at a cost of £22.00 per head.  If you are interested in joining then please  contact Reception who can send you all the details.
