Thank you for your kind feedback and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We use the paper bath mats as they are more environmentally friendly than linen bath mats, however due to the feedback received we are going to revert back to towelline bathmats.

J Tiley (July 2011) It took a long time to find somewhere Dorset/Devon way that was off the beaten track a bit as we wanted peace and quiet and a chance to unwind. The hotel was nicely situated with lovely surroundings and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It was not more than 4/5 miles from any "large" town so didn't have to do loads of extra driving which was good when it came to venturing out. The food was excellent, we never felt rushed which was a pleasant change, plus the wine list was nothing less than extensive I thought which is always good. All in all a really lovely break & we would definitely come again.
M Stanley (July 2011) We were very impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff and owner. Food was excellent and just the right sized portions and choices. Great to see that it was also dog friendly, gave a talking point between guests which was nice.
D Smith (July 2011) We arrived at about 5ish and were met by the owner who has a great sense of humour! The room was extremely clean and quiet. But by far the best part of the trip was our evening meal which was absolutely superb!! We only wish we had room for dessert! But we will return at another time to rectify that.
